San Francisco Trip (Oct 2022)...plus a few others in 2021…
After a SUPER busy year, I took a few trips in late 2022. First, enjoyed another road trip to San Francisco (with a few stops in Oregon). I decided at the last minute to walk across the Golden Gate Bridge via the Marina Green (from Fisherman's Wharf) since I hadn't done that in years. I miss doing that on a regular basis, it is incredibly calming. I took the following route...both ways; just under 12 miles. Needless to say, that even with good walking shoes, my feet were killing me:
Some images from my walk:
And with that…I walked all the way back…
Below are some additional images from a previous road trip to I took to Las Vegas, San Francisco and L.A. in Nov 2021:
Mount Shasta
If I ever move back to L.A., I think I’ll finally be able to afford that “tent-with-a-view” in the lower left corner…
Caught quite a sunset…
Had another random trip to Vegas and L.A. in late 2019 (including the next two images). I felt like I need to do something to get the adrenaline going, so, I decided to jump off the Stratosphere. I’m glad I had the guts to actually go through with it. But I’m not sure if I’d do it again.
“The planes have finally migrated south, to their home in Rat’s Ass, CA…”
Ahh, North Beach…so many good memories…
As seen in the David Fincher movie, “The Game”. I think they added a payphone at the bottom, if I recall correctly…
It was a gorgeous morning…
It’s loud as fuck standing under here…
An amazing last day…and surprisingly fog-free…
